Komodo Dragons are not native to the savannah nor Africa, but there was a hidden group who resided in a safe area in the southern region I was visiting. Not her. She did scare me when she quietly appreared by my side when I stopped to figure out what direction to head towards, but she took my hand and led me towards the direction to head back to the savannah. She explained to me how her species symbolized raw power, fierce protection, and thriving through adversities from where she originally came from.
We stopped by a tree that stood alone before a vast plain. She conjured up enough of her power to give to me before going walking back where we came from. She said it’s for when I needed it most after my adventures around the savannah. I kept the pose of her absorbing some of her powers in my mind to sketch later.
It was very empowering to see.
